Throughout her career she has managed large portfolios of fiscal services geared toward improving profitability and asset management through cost control, process improvement, and effective planning. Rubin & Associates, she was senior vice president and chief financial officer, treasurer and secretary at Bestquote Agency, Inc. ![]() She has more than 30 years of experience in various financial roles, most recently as contract CFO for several organizations in the life sciences, manufacturing, telecommunications, information technology, distribution, healthcare, non-profit and professional services sectors. Rubin & Associates, LLC and has served as interim chief financial officer since July 2. In this role, Rubin will manage the College’s business operations and oversee a number of departments, including finance, human resources, information technology and the physical plant. President Lori Varlotta and the Board of Trustees have named Nancy Rubin, the incumbent who holds the interim post, to the permanent position. Hiram College’s national search for its chief financial officer and vice president for business and finance has confirmed that a candidate close to home is best suited for the job.
